Back in 2004 I selected John Edwards as my candidate. After hearing him in the debate on Saturday night on ABC, I've decided that he'll get my support this time around, too. I like what he has to say, I think he's good looking and I think he'll do a good job of changing our country. Having said all that, I'm not saying that Barack or Hillary won't be able to do a good job. I just happen to like Edwards. The thing is, no matter who gets the nomination, I'll vote democratic in the next election. I do think that Hillary or Barack will get the nomination but maybe Edwards can be the VP like he was last time. Either way I think I know change is needed and I hope Edwards makes a good run for the nomination. So who are you backing? Do you have one selected? Do you think we have a chance this time? Will we be as disappointed as we were in 2004?



On another political note, there was an excellent piece in the Washington Post on Sunday written by George McGovern, the 1972 Democratic Presidential nominee. He makes a great case for impeeching Bush and Cheney. Check it out. You will need to be registered to read it but it's free so do it.
