Here We Go Again
I know there are some who really like Nader and think he'll be a good president, but it won't happen. The man doesn't have a chance. The only thing he'll do is screw it up again for the Democrats. I certainly hope those who voted for him in 2000 will not make the same mistake again. The last 7 years would have been totally different had Nader not been in the race in 2000. I know, I know, some people think it didn't make a difference but I don't agree. People, don't vote for this man. He doesn't have a chance and we NEED to get a Democrat in the White House. Don't make the same mistake!

Third Anniverary
Today is our 3rd anniversary! The boyfriend and I began dating three years ago today. As you know, we met in December 2004 but didn't start dating until February 20th 2005. We've had three wonderful years together and I'm sure we'll have many more together. I love you, sweetie!

Valentines Day Weekend
Here are some pictures from the weeknd with the boyfriend. We celebrated our Valentines Day this weekend.

Here's what was on my plate before dinner on Friday night. The boyfriend knows I love those cheap chocolates you get at CVS or places like that. He likes high end chocolates and I like low end chocolates.

Here's the boyfriend reacting to the Ghirardelli chocolates I got him.

Here you can see the mimosa the boyfriend made for us on Saturday morning. Yum!

Here's what we did most of the weekend. We love snuggling!

Valentines Day Love
Happy Valentine's Day, Sweetie! I love you!

My iPod Touch

My iPod Touch has arrived! The wi-fi is great! As you can see in the photo, my website loads beautifully on the touch. I can get e-mail too! I love this thing! Of course it can play music and movies too.
Blue Finger
While the boyfriend was cutting up vegetables for our wine tasting dinner party on Saturday evening, he cut the tip of his finger off. We were not finished preparing for the dinner party but decided we should take him to urgent care and have it looked at. It wouldn't stop bleeding. The bandaids were soaked. Turns out he didn't need any stitches. He just cut off a bit of skin and a bit of finger nail. He'll be fine in time. We spent about two hours at the urgent care and we experienced just how bad the US healthcare system is. That two hours was the biggest indication that we need universal healthcare in our country.

Friday Night Wine

iPod Touch
I did my taxes earlier this week and I'm getting a decent refund this year. Of course I will apply most of it to my credit card, and put some in savings but I decided to spend a little as well. I've been thinking about the iPod Touch for awhile now. I've always said it would be the perfect little computer if it could do all the the things the iPhone could do but without the phone. And of course Apple recently released an update to the iPod Touch that does just that. So...I went ahead and ordered the iPod Touch. I got a notification today that it shipped. It should arrive early next week.
At the time I ordered mine you could get the 8 gig or the 16 gig model. I went with the 16 gig model. Of course since then Apple released the 32 gig model. While I would love to have the 32 gig model, it's a bit too expensive for 16 more gigs of ram. I think the 16 gig model will be plenty for me. It's not that I plan on watching movies on it all that much. I really want it for the internet access and all the little functions it can do. I think I'll use the notes, mail, and maps the most.
Anyway, in a few days I'll have yet another iPod to add to my collection. Wasn't it just a few months ago that I was buying the iPod Nano?

Fat Tuesday
I'm not religious but I know it's Fat Tuesday. I'm fat too. It's time to get back to watching my weight and doing something about it. So I've put my pedometer on and I'm going to try to walk 5 miles a day. I used to do it so easily but as I get older it's harder and harder to reach that 5 mile mark. Yesterday I only walked 3.16 miles. I would love to lose 20 pounds but I'd be happy with 10 for the time being. I'm not going to put any pressure on myself though. And I'll do it slowly.
Oh, and it's Super Tuesday! If your state is participating in the almost national primary, get out and vote. Our primary isn't until February 12th. It will probably all be over by that time but I'm still planning on voting. Who will I vote for? I'm still not sure. Now that John Edwards is out, I need to think seriously between Obama and Clinton. I'll keep thinking.

Brainwork Monday
Todd is between Tom and Bob.
Dan is next to Tom.
Bob is not first.
What is the order in line?

Great Quote
“It did take a Clinton to clean up after the first Bush and I think it might take another one to clean up after the second Bush.” -Senator Hillary Clinton
